The afternoon parade starts at 14:00 and the evening parade starts at 20:30 (with the awards ceremony preceding at 19:45). The dahlia giants start from different starting points. It is important to be present on time so that you do not inconvenience other visitors by walking across the course during the rounds, and in addition that the dahlia giants can move safely through the streets.

Every third Friday in August:
Afternoon parade > parade starts at 2 p.m. and consists of two rounds.
Evening parade > parade starts at 8:30 p.m. and consists of two rounds.
Every third Saturday in August:
display from 12:00 to 17:00, with figuration from 13:00 to 16:00.
Please note that the parade floats are stationary!
Tickets are available online and at the box office. Ordering online is cheaper than buying at
the box office. In our ticket shop, you can buy tickets in advance and download
or print them at home. We strongly recommend this to avoid long queues.
Tickets can be ordered from our ticket shop until the day of the parade.
For the afternoon parade, online sales will close at 12:00 noon on Friday 16 August, and
for the evening parade at 6:00 p.m.
For the parade festival on Saturday, tickets will be available online until 12:00 noon.

No, a grandstand ticket can only be used in combination with a valid
admission ticket or membership wristband.
I ordered and paid for tickets online, but
did not receive any tickets by email. What should I do?
The email may have ended up in your spam folder or junk mail folder.
Please check there first. If you paid via Sofort or credit card,
there may be a delay between your payment and our payment system. If you have not received an email after 2 days,
please contact us at facturen@corsoklooster.nl.
That is certainly possible. Groups can reserve an admission ticket with
grandstand seating in advance.

Yes, you certainly can! On Friday during the parade, there are various places along the route where you can
buy food, drinks and/or ice cream. On Saturday, during the
parade festival, there are also various catering establishments where you can buy food, drinks and/or ice cream.

For disabled persons, we offer the option of reserving a place in advance
in the disabled plaza, so that you are assured of a good spot.
For wheelchair users, we have a wheelchair platform close to the
disabled parking spaces and toilets. For the correct information and reservations, please

Yes, during the afternoon parade we have set up a special grandstand, together with
the “Komt het zien” foundation, and various sign language interpreters. For the correct information and

In accordance with safety regulations, there are first aid stations at three different locations
that can be approached for first aid.

Sint Jansklooster is located in the middle of the Steenwijk, Zwolle, Emmeloord triangle in the
Wieden-Weerribben National Park. A tourist attraction that is easily accessible.

In line with our sustainability philosophy, we encourage everyone to come by bike as much as possible.
Bicycle parking facilities are indicated on all access roads.
